Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Hollywood

 
HOLLYWOOD, CA (April 19, 2019) – A hit-and-run driver fatally struck a pedestrian on Sunset Boulevard near North Formosa Avenue Thursday.
 
According to reports, the deadly crash took place around 2 a.m. in front of Bossa Nova restaurant.
 
The driver struck the pedestrian while traveling eastbound on Sunset Boulevard as the man crossed. It appears the driver briefly stopped before fleeing the scene.
 
Per a Los Angeles Police Department news release, the victim’s identity has yet to be released. However, authorities described him as a male in his 50s.
 
Now, investigators are seeking the whereabouts of the hit-and-run driver.
