Deadly Pedestrian Crash on Shadows Oaks near Irvine Valley College

 
IRVINE, CA (November 12, 2019) – A man died in a pedestrian crash Tuesday afternoon near Irvine Valley College.
 
The crash happened around 2:24 p.m. at the intersection of Shadow Oaks and Barranca Parkway.
 
According to police, a male pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle. Responding firefighters and paramedics performed life-saving measures on the man, but he died at the scene.
 
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
 
This fatal incident is still under investigation.
