Pedestrian Dies in Hit-And-Run Crash on Jensen Avenue

 
Fresno, CA (August 6, 2020) – On Thursday, a pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash on Jensen Avenue.
 
Authorities said the accident happened at about 1 a.m. east Armstrong Avenue.
 
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the victim in the roadway. Authorities pronounced him dead.
 
Moreover, investigators said the victim was struck by three different vehicles.
 
“We have two of the three vehicles that did, unfortunately, strike the pedestrian. (They) did stop, they are being very cooperative with the investigators. We don’t suspect those drivers to be under the influence of any type of alcohol or drugs,” says CHP Officer Mike Salas.
 
CHP is currently looking for the driver that first struck the victim. They said they do not have any details on the suspect and the involved vehicle as of yet.
