1 Arrested after Pacific Beach Pedestrian Accident on 1700 Grand Avenue
PACIFIC BEACH, CA (July 18, 2021) – On Friday, a man sustained injuries in a pedestrian crash on 1700 Grand Avenue, the authorities revealed.
According to Officer Tony Martinez of the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened around midnight. Moreover, it occurred on the 1700 block of Grand Avenue.
Reports revealed that an eastbound 2016 Hyundai struck a man was crossing the road. The pedestrian was pushing an e-bike outside a marked crosswalk.
Furthermore, responders transported the 65-year-old male victim to an area hospital with a fractured skull and pelvis.
Meanwhile, authorities arrested the driver of the vehicle involved on suspicion of DUI.
The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
