BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 3, 2021) – Thursday night, a man died and a woman sustained injuries in a crash on Grapevine Road and Interstate 5.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 9:36 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Grapevine Road, off Interstate 5.
 
Reports revealed that a blue Mazda veered off the northbound lanes of Grapevine Road for unknown reasons.
 
Furthermore, responders pronounced the male driver of the vehicle dead at the scene. Also, paramedics confirmed that an 18-year-old female passenger of the Mazda sustained minor injuries in the crash.
 
The incident closed the northbound onramp and offramp to I-5 from Grapevine Road.
