Pedestrian Suffers Injuries in Hit-and-Run Long Beach Accident
LONG BEACH, CA (June 6, 2019) – Police are searching for two hit-and-run drivers who left a pedestrian injured on West Cowles Street near Seabright Avenue on May 26.
The incident took place at approximately 8:10 p.m. According to the Long Beach Police Department, a gray Dodge Challenger and a red Ford Mustang struck a 32-year-old pedestrian. Authorities believe the two cars had been speeding at the time.
Reports specified that the Dodge struck the Long Beach man before he and his fellow accomplice in the Ford fled the scene.
Soon after, paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition.
