Woman Dead After Being Hit by City Bus in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 27, 2019) – A woman was killed Tuesday morning when she was hit by a Metro bus in the 4400 block of Wilshire Boulevard at South Rossmore Avenue.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene around 12:30 a.m. and found the victim. Crews performed life-saving efforts, but the woman died shortly after.
Per reports, a bystander even rushed to the woman’s aid, but it was too late.
The bus driver informed officers that the woman was originally sitting at the bus stop before she stepped onto the street and was hit.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating this crash to determine the cause and circumstances.
