Driver Dies in Los Angeles Crash With Tow Truck
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 4, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a deadly crash that happened Friday morning when a tow truck somehow crashed on top of a vehicle, killing its driver at the 10 Freeway and San Pedro Street off-ramp.
The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. on the San Pedro Street off-ramp, California Highway Patrol Sgt. Kris Ulibarri said.
When arriving officers were dispatched to the scene, they found a tow truck on top of a Honda. A 41-year-old man inside the Honda was trapped inside and pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
No other injuries were reported but the CHP plans to investigate the events leading to the cause.
