4 Rushed to Hospital Following Head-On Collision in Lompoc
LOMPOC, CA (February 12, 2019) – Four people were injured in a head-on collision Sunday night on Highway 1 at Santa Lucia Canyon Road.
According to Dave Zaniboni, a spokesman for the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash happened around 8:30 p.m.
Santa Barbara County Fire and Vandenberg Fire were called to the scene to find one person with moderate injuries and three others with minor injuries. The patient with moderate injuries was ushered by paramedics to Marian Regional Medical Center and three others were taken to Lompoc Valley Medical Center.
There was no information concerning the cause and circumstances of the crash, which involved a Dodge truck and a sedan.
The incident blocked the highway for short time due to the debris on the road.
