Ken Balayev of Calabasas Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision on 110 Freeway [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (May 27, 2023) – On Friday, a 71-year-old taxi driver, Ken Balayev of Calabasas, sustained fatal injuries following a 2-vehicle collision on 110 Freeway.

The authorities received the accident report at about 2:49 a.m. on the northbound freeway at Exposition Boulevard.

Responding officers located the victim’s vehicles and several other vehicles blocking the right lanes of the freeway.

Investigating officers said a woman driving a black Chevy Cruze southbound in the northbound lanes crashed head-on into Ken Balayev who was driving a taxi. Additionally, the medical team rushed three people in critical condition.

Officers are investigating the 2-vehicle collision on 110 Freeway.
