Kayla Payan Dies in Suspected Street Racing Crash on West Sloan Canyon Road [Castaic, CA]

Castaic, CA (August 09, 2021) – On Sunday, 17-year-old Kayla Payan died in a suspected street racing crash on West Sloan Canyon Road.

The fatal crash took place at about 4:31 p.m.

A video footage shows two cars driving side by side, wherein one of the vehicles was driving on the wrong side of the road. 

Later on, one of the cars overturned and ended up in a backyard. 

Unfortunately, Payan lost her life on the scene.

Apparently, a relative said the two cars were racing at the time of the crash.

Meanwhile, the authorities say rescuers rushed other people to the hospital but there is no update on their conditions.
