Amazon Van Involved in Fatal Crash on Holder Street
Cypress, CA (August 22, 2022) On Sunday evening, 1 person died and 2 others were hospitalized after a traffic collision involving an Amazon van on Katella Avenue.
Authorities say that the fatal crash happened just before 7:20 p.m. at the intersection with Holder Street.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, the collision involved an Amazon delivery van and a white four-door car. Reports say that both vehicles are facing each other in the street, the Amazon van facing the wrong way in the lanes.
First responders found 3 people injured due to the crash, however, rescuers pronounced 1 person dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the other 2 to a local trauma center.
Officials are investigating the incident and have not released information about the crash.
