Kassandra Soto Injured, Adriana Chavez Arrested in Goleta DUI Crash

 
Goleta, CA (June 04, 2021) – On Thursday, Kassandra Soto, 23-year-old of Goleta was injured, and police arrested Adriana Chavez, 26-year-old, also of Goleta in a DUI crash on Highway 101.
 
The accident took place at about 2:15 a.m., west of Dos Pueblos Canyon Road.
 
When the officers arrived, they located a 2014 Toyota Corolla that slammed into a tree, and rested on its right side.
 
Also, they located Soto, a rear passenger seat female passenger who was thrown form the vehicle and got seriously injured.
 
Right away, rescuers took Soto by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of head trauma.
 
On the other hand, Chavez incurred minor abrasions in the accident.
 
Officers arrested Chavez on suspicion of felony drunken driving causing injury, and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08% or greater causing injury.
 
They booked her into the Santa Barbara County Jail, where she remained Thursday afternoon, with bail set at $100,000.
