Justo Jorge Killed in Horrific 2-Vehicle Crash on SR 7 [Parkland, WA]

Parkland, WA (March 22, 2024) On Wednesday afternoon, 24-year-old Justo Jorge of Auburn died and another driver was hurt in a tragic crash on State Route 7.

According to a Washington State Patrol (WSP), the deadly 2-vehicle crash happened around 4 p.m. on State Route 7 near Garfield Street South.

Reports say that Jorge was riding a motorcycle that collided with a Nissan Rouge carrying three people.

Officials say that the Nissan was turning left and crossing northbound SR 7 in the center lane when the motorcycle crashed into the vehicle.

Both vehicles ended up in the northbound lanes, the collision blocked the roadway for over 3 hours.

Authorities pronounced Jorge dead at the scene, while the Nissan driver suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital. Officials say that the 2 passengers of the Nissan escaped injuries.

WSP says that speed has been determined as the cause of the collision.
