Juan Alvarado Dies in Single-Vehicle DUI Crash on North Wheeler Ridge Road Near Teale Road

 
ARVIN, CA (January 10, 2019) – A 25-year-old man was killed early Monday following a solo-vehicle DUI crash on North Wheeler Ridge Road near Teale Road.
 
The 25-year-old victim, who was driving the 1998 Chevrolet northbound on North Wheeler Ridge Road that crossed the southbound lanes and crashing into two power poles, was identified as Juan Jose Alvarado.
 
Alvarado, of Arvin, was believed to be impaired at the time his Chevrolet crashed. He was unrestrained and pronounced dead at the scene by Kern County Fire Department.
