SMITH COUNTY, TX (June 7, 2023) – Saturday morning, Joshua Woodral died in a single-vehicle crash on County Road 229.

The incident occurred at about 2:22 a.m. on County Road 229, 4.2 miles northwest of Chapel Hill. Reports said that a vehicle carrying the men lost control on a curve. Then, it overturned and fell into a ditch.

According to reports, the authorities declared the 28-year-old driver from Howe Oklahoma dead at the scene.

Moreover, responders took the 33-year-old passenger, Michael C. Beebe to a hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
