Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Chico Avenue [South El Monte, CA]

South El Monte, CA (April 28, 2024) – A pedestrian sustained fatal injuries following a hit-and-run crash on Chico Avenue Saturday morning.

It was about 7:20 a.m. when the fatal collision happened at the intersection with Garvey Avenue.

Troopers stated that a light-colored sedan hit the pedestrian in a crosswalk and drove from the scene.

Sadly, the pedestrian died at the crash scene.
