1 Killed in Downey Hit-and-Run Crash
Downey, CA (April 27, 2024) – A motorcycle rider was killed following a Firestone Boulevard collision Sunday night.
It was about 10 p.m. when the deadly collision happened on Woodruff Avenue.
Investigators said a speeding dark-colored sedan fatally struck a pedestrian who was crossing Firestone Blvd.
The suspect’s vehicle ultimately stopped after it slammed into the center median east of Woodruff Ave.
Meanwhile, Downey Police Department officers were looking for a part of the body at the crash scene.
This fatal collision is under investigation.
