Joseph Ordway Dead in Rollover Crash on Highway 101 [Goleta, CA]

Joseph Ordway Killed after Goleta Solo-Vehicle Rollover Accident

 
GOLETA, CA (June 123, 2019) – Authorities identified 27-year old Joseph Ordway as the man who died after a rollover crash on Monday, June 10.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 1:00 a.m. on the southbound Highway 101 north of Los Carneros Road.
 
Ordway drove a black Chevrolet Silverado that drifted into the guardrails. After that, it overturned for an unknown number of times.
 
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and sustained major injuries. First responders transported him to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
 
It is unknown if the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the collision.  However, reports stated that the driver did not wear his seatbelt during the crash.
 
The incident is currently under investigation.
