Jorrick Battle Killed in Dallas North Tollway Collision [Dallas, TX]

Dallas, TX (August 27, 2023) – On Saturday morning, Jorrick Battle, 55, of Houston, and Connor Steyer, 27, of Richardson, lost their lives following a Dallas North Tollway collision.

The wrong-way collision took place past 4:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the Tollway near Wycliff Avenue.

Officers said Steyer was driving a northbound 2019 Mazda CX5 in the southbound lanes.

At the same time, Battle was driving a southbound 2017 Ford F150 on the same lanes.

Steyer struck the truck head-on.

Unfortunately, Connor Steyer and Jorrick Battle lost their lives at the scene.

Investigating officers said Steyer was not wearing a seatbelt when the collision happened. 

The authorities are still investigating this Dallas collision.
