James Llewellyn Dies in 25th Street East Two-Vehicle Crash [Palmdale, CA]

25th Street East Collision Sends Driver and Passenger to Hospital

Palmdale, CA (April 5, 2022) – On April 1, James Llewellyn, 45, of Palmdale, lost his life in a two-vehicle collision on 25th Street East.

It was about 4:47 a.m. when the fatal incident took place near Avenue R.

Llewellyn was behind the wheel of a westbound black 2017 Ford Focus when he turned right onto 25th Street East from a red signal. Then, he made a U-turn in front of a northbound 2016 Toyota Camry which was traveling through the intersection on a yellow or green signal.

As a result, the Toyota Camry crashed with the driver’s side of Llewellyn’s vehicle.

Llewellyn died at the scene of the collision.

Moreover, the paramedics rushed the Camry’s female driver and her minor passenger to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

“Neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor in this collision,” says the sheriff‘s news release.
