Five Vehicles Involved in Collision near West 2nd Street

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (January 11, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle crash on southbound 215 Freeway, Friday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 10:26 AM, near West 2nd Street. Based on their report, there were five vehicles involved in the pile-up. An unknown car was flipped over, while airbags were deployed in a white BMW. A red sedan was also involved in the incident.

The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They sent two people to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. They described the victims’ conditions as non-life-threatening.

The No. 3 and 4 lanes of the freeway were closed while clearing and recovery operations took place in the area. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation, and additional information will be disclosed to the public, once it becomes available.
