Injuries Reported Following 2-Vehicle Collision in Santa Clarita

SANTA CLARITA, CA (January 23, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained in a collision of two vehicles at San Francisquito Canyon Road on Saturday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred just north of Copper Hill Drive at around 1:45 p.m. It involved a dark gray Scion and a dark gray Maserati which blocked the roadway after the incident, resulting to a delay in traffic. Vehicles were advised to take alternate routes.

CHP officers and the Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the incident. The cause and events leading to the accident are still being determined in an ongoing investigation.
