Injuries Reported in Interstate 90 Vehicle Crash [North Bend, WA]

North Bend, WA (December 24, 2022) – On Thursday, a WSP officer was involved and injuries were reported in an Interstate 90 vehicle crash.

The traffic accident took place on the westbound freeway near milepost 32.

Reports say the officer was struck in his patrol car by two vehicles during a collision involving a big rig. Luckily, the accident did not result in major injuries.

Right now, multiple collisions are blocking both east and westbound I- 90. 

Traffic officers closed westbound freeway at milepost 37 and eastbound at milepost 34 while Trooper Rick Johnson said there is no estimated time for reopening. 

Officers are still  determining the number of vehicles involved in the collision with the deputy.
