El Cajon, CA (April 29, 2024) – A person has been injured following a plane crash on Lily Avenue Sunday evening.
It was about 6:20 p.m. when the aircraft crashed in the 1400 block area near Gillespie Field.
The accident report noted that the plane experienced engine problems and clipped power lines as it took off.
