Collision at Highway 49 and Highway 12 Results to Moderate Injuries

 
SAN ANDREAS, CA (August 08, 2019) – Officials reported moderate injuries sustained following a collision at Highway 49 and Highway 12 intersection Tuesday afternoon.
 
As per the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a sedan and an SUV. In addition, it occurred outside of San Andreas in Calaveras County.
 
The wreckage blocked Highway 12 for more than an hour, causing traffic delays. However, the roadway remained closed until about 4:30 p.m.
 
The investigation of the crash is ongoing.
