SACRAMENTO, CA (August 16, 2023) – Tuesday night, a horrific 2-vehicle crash on La Porte Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened just after 7:00 p.m. along La Porte Road North of Woodleaf in Challenge

A spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol revealed that the crash involved a Green 2500 Dodge Ram and a blue Chevy Blazer.

Then, responders declared one person dead at the scene. Also, CHP took one party into custody for DUI.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
