Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Broadway Road in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (May 25, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, 23-year-old Gilberto Enrique Magdalena died in a crash on Broadway Road.
The fatal motorcycle crash on Broadway Road in Phoenix happened on May 24, west of 48th Street after 5 p.m.
Police say Magdalena was riding his motorcycle west on Broadway Road when he was hit by the first vehicle exiting a private driveway and turning west onto the street.
Magdalena was then thrown into the eastbound lane, where he was struck by the second vehicle. Both drivers remained on the scene and spoke with investigators.
Investigators are still learning what led up to the initial crash, but believe that impairment was not a factor.
