Worker Killed in Pacoima Pedestrian Accident

 
PACOIMA, CA (April 2, 2019) – A forklift operator lost his life Sunday morning when a vehicle struck him on Foothill Boulevard near Van Nuys Boulevard.
 
The blue Hyundai struck the forklift operator around 1 a.m. According to reports, the worker died while trying to operate a forklift. Yet it is unclear what led to the accident.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Authorities described the victim as a Fresno man in his 60s.
 
At this time, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the crash to determine the circumstances and liabilities.
