Fatal Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 5 Kills 1 [Encinitas, CA]

Encinitas, CA (April 11, 2023) On Monday morning, a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 5 left a person lifeless.

Authorities say that the multi-car crash happened at about 10:45 a.m. near Moonlight Beach, south of Encinitas Boulevard.

CHP says that the traffic accident involved a big rig and several other vehicles. The collision blocked all lanes on SB I-5 south of Encinitas Blvd.

Authorities pronounced a person dead at the scene.

The CHP is investigating the deadly multi-car crash and has not released additional information at this time.
