Deadly Cupertino Bicycle Accident on Tantau Avenue and Interstate Highway 280
CUPERTINO, CA (February 8, 2023) – Tuesday morning, an elderly man died in a bicycle crash on N Tantau Avenue and Interstate Highway 280.
The incident occurred at around 11:30 a.m. in the 10000 block of N Tantau Avenue just south of Interstate Highway 280.
According to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, the 69-year-old bicyclist succumbed to injuries at the scene.
Moreover, the driver remained at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation. Also, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
