2 People Injured in Ukiah Auto Accident on Gobbi Street and Main Street

 
UKIAH, CA (December 21, 2021) – Sunday morning, authorities arrested Dustin Blakesly after a pursuit crash on Gobbi Street and Main Street.
 
The incident occurred at around 12:25 a.m. on Gobbi Street and Main Street.
 
According to officers, Dustin Blakesly fled when Mendocino County sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop him over. They tried to pull him over for a traffic violation around 25 minutes earlier at an unspecified location.
 
He drove onto southbound Highway 101 and CHP officers began the pursuit near Highway 175. The chase went onto country roads and later into the city of Ukiah.
 
Afterward, Blakesly’s vehicle crashed with a vehicle that had gone out of a Safeway parking lot on Gobbi Street. Eventually, authorities managed to arrest Blakesly after trying to run from the scene.
 
Moreover, the authorities suspect Dustin Blakesly of evading authorities and driving under the influence of alcohol.
 
He also had warrants for his arrest related to other incidents that included driving without a valid license and domestic battery.
 
Meanwhile, two people occupying the other vehicle suffered minor to moderate injuries.
