2 Hospitalized after Napa County Accident on Howell Mountain Road

 
NAPA COUNTY, CA (July 21, 2020) – Late Sunday night, a driver and passenger sustained injuries in big rig crash on Howell Mountain Road.
 
The rollover big rig crash occurred at 11:11 p.m. on Howel Mountain Road near White Cottage Road. The incident occurred when a semi-truck overturned in the Angwin Area, south of Pope Valley.
 
As a result, the truck driver and a passenger sustained minor injuries as the vehicle fell down an embankment. Responders transported both of them to a local hospital for treatment.
 
Also, the crash shut down the northbound lane of Howell Mountain Road.
 
Meanwhile, Monday morning, the CHP advised drivers to use alternate routes such as Ink Grade Road while the roadway remained close.
 
Furthermore, the CHP announced by 9:15 a.m. that they could lift the road closure within 45 minutes.
