Car Collision in Mira Mesa Leaves 1 Injured
MIRA MESA, CA (April 19, 2019) – A 52-year-old driver suffered an injury in Wednesday’s two-car crash at Mira Mesa Boulevard and Camino Ruiz.
According to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims, the crash happened around 2:35 p.m.
At the intersection riddled with shops on three corners, a 2001 Infiniti G20 and 2006 Mitsubishi Outback collided.
It appears the Infiniti driver was traveling south, attempting a left-hand turn onto Mira Mesa Boulevard. Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi was heading north through the intersection when they crashed.
As a result of the crash, the Infiniti driver suffered a fractured right leg while the 40-year-old SUV driver escaped injury.
At this time, officers are investigating this crash since it’s unclear where the fault lies.
