Reckless Driver Kills Motorcyclist in Airport Drive Collision
Bakersfield, CA (May 29, 2023) On Saturday morning, a reckless driver caused a motorcycle accident on State Road that killed a motorcyclist.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department (BPD), the fatal collision happened at around 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of State Road and Airport Drive.
Reports say that a driver did not stop at a red light and struck a westbound motorcyclist. Officials say that the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.
Meanwhile, the motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries due to the crash. Paramedics transported the rider to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.
