1 Person Dead in Fresno Auto Accident on Dinuba Avenue and West Avenue

FRESNO, CA (September 27, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a devastating two-vehicle crash on Dinuba Avenue and West Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 11:00 a.m. on Dinuba Avenue and West Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Nissan Altima and a GMC Sierra pickup collided for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed both vehicles into an orchard on the southwest corner of the intersection.

As a result, paramedics pronounced the GMC Sierra’s driver, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported two occupants of the Nissan to a hospital with major injuries.

Moreover, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
