Fatal Clovis Accident on Minnewawa Avenue

 
Clovis, CA (November 7, 2020) – Saturday morning, a 30-year-old man died and 83-year-old David Loux suffered injuries in a head-on collision on Minnewawa.
 
The crash happened just after 5 a.m. on November 7 in Clovis, by Shepherd Avenue.
 
Moreover, dispatched officers located a 2002 Honda CRV and 2014 Cadillac SRX on the scene.
 
The California Highway Patrol reports say the driver of the Honda CRV was traveling southbound on Minnewawa approaching Shepherd. Still, his vehicle traveled into the northbound lane directly in the path of the Cadillac, causing the head-on collision.
 
As a result, paramedics took the Honda driver to Clovis Community Medical Center, but he later died while undergoing treatment. It is unknown if he was under the influence of pending toxicology results.
 
Meanwhile, the other driver, Ms. David Loux, sustained minor injuries, and medics also took him to the hospital.
