Dana Lynn D’Angelo Struck and Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Washington Avenue

 
El Cajon, CA (September 11, 2020) – On Thursday, Dana Lynn D’Angelo was struck and killed on West Washington Avenue and South Orange Avenue in El Cajon.
 
Lt. Jeremiah Larson of the El Cajon Police Department said officers responded to the scene at about 11 PM. They located the 51-year-old with significant head injuries.
 
Authorities pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, an investigation confirmed the woman was crossing the road when she was hit by the vehicle moving westbound on Washington Avenue. Also, it was unclear whether the woman was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash.
 
Meanwhile, Larson also said that alcohol or drugs were not considered factors in the crash.
