1 Person Hospitalized in Hesperia Auto Accident on Bear Valley Road near Second Avenue

HESPERIA, CA (April 24, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a crippling two-vehicle crash on Bear Valley Road near Second Avenue injured one person.

The incident happened at around 12:13 p.m. on Bear Valley Road, just east of Second Avenue, near the entrance of Tom’s Famous Family Restaurant.

According to Sheriff’s spokeswoman Amanda Paslak, an eastbound white 2006 Toyota Camry Solara failed to stop at a red light and collided with a westbound Chevrolet van that was turning southbound.

Moreover, responders airlifted the female driver of the Toyota to a trauma center with minor injuries to the arm and a possible head injury. Then, paramedics transported the male driver of the Chevrolet to a local hospital with major injuries to the arm.

Furthermore, the crash closed multiple lanes of eastbound Bear Valley Road but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
