Injuries Reported in Bakersfield Auto Accident on Interstate 5 and Grapevine Road

BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 4, 2023) – Friday, a crippling 2-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 and Grapevine Road led to injuries.

The incident involving two vehicles which led to injuries happened on Interstate 5 North, north of Grapevine Road.

After the crash, three lanes of Interstate 5 North were closed but have since reopened. Meanwhile, the far right lane remained closed for an unknown amount of time for emergency personnel.

The crash stalled the northbound, which is backed up to the south Fort Tejon overcross.
Moreover, officers advised motorists to expect delays as traffic is heavy in the area. Emergency personnel responded to clear the area.

CHP urged drivers to follow traffic at a safe distance and drive carefully.
