CERRITOS, CA – One Hospitalized in Two-Car Crash on 91 Freeway near 605 Freeway Interchange

Morning Two-Car Wreck on 91 Freeway in Cerritos Sends One to Hospital

 
CERRITOS, CA (January 26, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a two-car crash Saturday morning at the intersection of westbound 91 Freeway and northbound 605 Freeway.
 
The crash happened around 7:44 a.m. involving a dark green Nissan Pathfinder and a gray Toyota sedan.
 
When officers arrived on the scene, the Pathfinder was partially flipped on its side in the center divider, while the Toyota was on the right shoulder.
 
Paramedics also responded and took one patient to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
The transition road was shut down while crews removed the vehicles and cleared the wreckage.
 
No additional information was provided at this time. The specific cause of the crash and who may be at fault remain under investigation.
