Pedestrian Injured in Los Banos Accident on Mercey Springs Road and Pacheco Boulevard

LOS BANOS, CA (June 30, 2021) – Authorities arrested Cedric Deon Hill following a hit-and-run crash on Mercey Springs Road last Friday.

The Los Banos accident happened at around 11:35 p.m. on Mercey Springs Road and Pacheco Boulevard.

According to reports, a vehicle struck and pedestrian. Thus, Los Banos police officers came to the scene.

Upon their arrival, they found the adult man on the ground with injuries to his face and arm. Witnesses revealed that as the victim walked east across Mercey Springs Road, an eastbound Chevrolet Camaro hit him. The pedestrian was using the crosswalk when the crash occurred.

Eventually, the authorities found that the suspect vehicle was parked at a Motel 6 in the Santa Nella area.

Then, officers came to the motel and found the vehicle and Cedric Hill.

According to the police, Cedric Hill gave a false name to officers and tried to run from authorities while being placed under arrest.

The authorities booked the 31-year-old into the Los Banos Police Department jail. He was charged with suspicion of fleeing the scene of an injury collision, resisting arrest, and providing false information to a police officer.
