Sun City, AZ (May 26, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, a golf cart driver was killed in a calamitous collision on Osprey Drive, off Grand Avenue.
Authorities say that the fatal 2-vehicle crash happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection with Stardust Boulevard.
Reports say that a truck fatally struck a golf cart. Officials say that the golf cart driver was taken to a hospital, where the driver succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.
Officials say that the truck driver remained at the scene. Maricopa County deputies are investigating the fatal 2-vehicle crash, no information on whether the high speed or impairment was a factor in the crash.
