Bus Involved in Crash on 10 Freeway [El Monte, CA]

Two-Vehicle Collision Reported near Santa Anita Avenue

EL MONTE, CA (December 3, 2018) – On Monday afternoon, a bus was involved in a crash on 10 Freeway, just west of Santa Anita Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 4:01 PM. Based on initial reports, the bus collided with another vehicle, but events leading up to the accident are unclear at this time.

Paramedics were requested to the scene for needed medical attention. It was not clear if the bus was occupied at the time of the incident, and no report was released regarding the condition of the involved motorists. A SigAlert was issued, closing the HOV and the No. 1 and 2 lanes, while clearing operations were conducted in the area for debris.
