Anna Agosto Injured in Hartley County Fatal Crash
Hartley County, TX (January 6, 2024) – 23-year-old Brett Jones was killed and 22-year-old Anna Agosto was injured in a US 87 vehicle collision Thursday evening.
It was about 6:15 p.m. when a southwest 2017 Ford F-250 on US 87 was driving at an unsafe speed for snowy roadway conditions.
At the same time, a 2014 Nissan Altima driven by Agosto with passenger Jones was northeast on the same highway.
Investigating officers said the Ford slid into the northeast lane and hit the Nissan killing Brett Jones at the scene.
Agosto was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers are still investigating this fatal collision.
