Bertin Jiminez Yesca Killed in Rollover Crash on State Route 241 [Sunnyside, WA]

Sunnyside, WA (April 28, 2023) – On Thursday, 32-year-old Bertin Jiminez Yesca died while two others were injured in a rollover crash on State Route 241.

The fatal collision took place at about 12:30 a.m. near milepost 18.

Officers said the car driven by a 17-year-old was southbound on the freeway when the driver failed to negotiate the curve. As a result, the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled down an embankment.

The driver and a 14-year-old passenger were transported to the hospital. Both were wearing a seatbelt.

Bertin Jiminez Yesca died, officers said Yesca was not wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened.
