One Killed in Semi-Truck Accident on 10 Freeway [Beaumont, CA]

1 Dead and 3 Injured in Semi-Collision near South Highland Springs Avenue

 
BEAUMONT, CA (February 27, 2019) – One person was killed Tuesday afternoon, in a Semi-Truck Accident on 10 Freeway. Their identity has not been released.
 
The fatal accident took place around 1:24 p.m., on the eastbound side of the freeway. Emergency crews found a dark-colored SUV struck by a semi-truck upon arrival.
 
Three people in the SUV reportedly self-extricated themselves; moreover, one of whom was seriously injured. A fourth victim was transported to a nearby hospital where they died shortly after.
 
All lanes of the eastbound freeway were backed up. The cause and circumstances are being investigated by authorities. No further details have been made available.
