Woman Severely Injured Following Anza Dog Attack

 
ANZA, CA (December 18, 2018) – A woman was severely injured Saturday morning following a dog attack in the 55000 block of Mitchell Road near Bautista Canyon Road.
 
The attack was reported around 9:40 a.m., according to the Riverside County Fire Department. The woman was reportedly on her own property when she was attacked by three canines.
 
The victim suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to hospital for treatment. The dogs involved in the attack, which were described as pit bull and pit bull mixes, were impounded at the San Jacinto Valley Animal Campus. Plans to euthanize them were said to be sought by animal services.
 
The owner of the dog was said to have a felony warrant and was detained by Sheriff’s deputy after that incident.
 
The name of the victim was not released, and her current condition is unknown.
