Anthony Lara Arrested in Deadly Police Pursuit Crash on Baseline Street [San Bernardino, CA]

2 Killed in San Bernardino Accident on Baseline Street and Clear View Lane

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA [December 19, 2021) – Friday afternoon, authorities arrested Anthony Lara after a deadly police pursuit crash on Baseline Street.
 
The incident started when officers spotted a truck that matched the description of a stolen vehicle during a kidnapping. Then, deputies attempted to stop the vehicle on Greenspot Road near Alta Vista. However, the vehicle began to speed away.
 
Reports revealed that the suspect vehicle ran a stoplight at Baseline Street and lost control. As the truck lost control, it veered left and crashed into a home.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced two occupants of the vehicle, a 49-year-old Yucaipa man and a 32-year-old Highland woman, dead at the scene.
 
Then, paramedics transported the truck driver, 30-year-old Redlands resident Anthony Lara. Furthermore, authorities later arrested Anthony Lara.
