Andrew Lopez of Hesperia Dies in Cottonwood Avenue Accident [Hesperia, CA]

Hesperia, CA (November 8, 2022) – On Sunday, Andrew Lopez, a 31-year-old Hesperia resident lost his life following a Cottonwood Avenue accident.

The traffic collision took place at about 10:29 p.m., in the area of Juniper Street.

Officers say Andrew was walking north when hit by a 2017 Nissan Altima in the north lane of Cottonwood Avenue.

Responding medics declared Andrew Lopez dead at the crash scene.

“It is still under investigation whether or not drugs and/or alcohol were a factor in this crash,” an officer stated.
